The Southend Special Educational Needs & Disability Information, Advice & Support Service (SENDIASS) is a statutory service which is ‘arms-length’ from the local authority.

We provide a free, impartial and confidential service to parents and carers of children who have special educational needs and or a disability. (SEND)

The SENDIAS Service aims to encourage partnership between parents, carers and young people with their school, local authority, social care, health and other agencies. Our intention is to provide information to enable you to make your own informed choices.
