Welcome to Southend-on-Sea's Local offer  -  What is the Local Offer? The Local Offer is published as part of the SEND reforms under the Children and Families Act 2014 and will be developed and reviewed over time, with the involvement of young people, parents and service providers.  For more information click here:

Upcoming Events:


  • Next Local Offer Forum Meeting:  Tuesday 25th April 2017, 10.30am– 12.30pm at The St Christopher School Family Room, Mountdale Gardens, Southend-on-Sea, Leigh-on-Sea, SS9 4AW .  At this meeting we will be discussing promotion of the Local Offer, a date and content of a Local Offer conference and future meeting dates and times.   • Save the date  - We will be holding our next Preparing for Adulthood Group on 11th July 2017 at The Tickfield Centre, Tickfield Road, Southend on Sea.  Save the date – more details to follow.

  • Post 16 Special Educational Provision Questionnaire for young People

    IPSEA is currently collating information to help them develop specific guidance on post 16 work.

    They have set up a survey and are looking for young people aged 16+ to fill it in, either by themselves or with their carers/parents.
