Education, Employment and Training

The National Careers Service website has some useful tools and information about choosing a Career.


Health

For young peoples Mental and Emotional Well-being you can visit the national Young Minds website.

Local support can also be obtained through the GP or School / College Support Services.


Young Parents

Young Expecting Mums should notify their GP as they can be allocated their own Family Nurse. If you are expecting and under 18 years old you will also qualify for Healthy Start vouchers.

Once you have had your baby there is various support available through the Children’s Centres. If you are returning to studying and are under 20 years old then you may be entitled to Care 2 Learn funding.
