Southend Borough Council: The Local Account

Southend-on-Sea Borough Council has published their latest ‘Local Account’ of adult social care to inform people living in Southend about the achievements, challenges and priorities for adult social care and the impact these have on people’s lives.  This is a document that all local authorities are asked to write and share with residents every year.

This year’s Local Account of adult social care in Southend provides a retrospective review of the achievements during 2015-16 and sets out the Council’s aspirations, challenges and direction of travel for 2016-17 and beyond. It explains how much the Council spends, what it spends money on, what it is doing and its future plans, including any improvements.
